Twins Game on Thursday

So I have tickets for this thursday (tomorrow), and the weather is not supposed to be very cooperative. This is also the last visit that Detroit makes to Minnesota. My concern is what is going to happen if they are not able to get the game in tomorrow.

Here's their policy right from their website. If I were you, I'd be more worried about all the Vikings fans in town at the same time.

In the event a regulation game, as defined by Major League Baseball (i.e. 4 1/2 innings if the Twins are ahead and five full innings if the visiting team is ahead or the game is tied), is not played due to weather, an act of God or any other reason, one of the following policies will apply:

The game will be:

A. Rescheduled to an open day, or

B. Rescheduled to a Day/Night Split Doubleheader(two separate games on the same date)

Keep your ticket as you will need it for entrance to the rescheduled game. Tickets for rescheduled game are not subject to refunds or exchanges. All tickets are valid only for the rescheduled game.

Suite Tickets

Suite tickets will be valid only for the rescheduled game.

Season Tickets

Full or Partial Season Tickets are valid only for the rescheduled game.

Group Tickets

Group Tickets are valid only for the rescheduled game.

Single-Game Tickets

Single-game tickets are valid only for the rescheduled game.

Thanks for the reply, I guess I did not look deep enough into the policys to find this.

I just did another quick search on this and it now came up as the first link.

I thought when a game got canceled that you were pretty much SOL?

I remember that happened early in the season and the people who had the game tickets were left without a game and the people on the day of the rescheduled double header got to go to an extra game for the price of one.

No, they'll never do a double header without clearing the place for the second game. Too much lost revenue, which we all know is what it's all about.

I think I know which game you are talking about, it was against the Yanks and they got 6 innings in and they were tied but it was considered a complete game since they finished 5 1/2 which was du m b.

Sounds like we'll probably get the game in. Bring rain protection though and have fun!

I've got nose-bleed seats for tomorrow night!

Go Twins!

Anyone going to the game tonight, prepare for madness on the roads! Twins, Vikings and Gophers all in one day! They said there could be around 100,000 people going to and from the games. It sounds like driving could really get ugly.
