They just anounced on wcco he wont be in the line up tomorrow. This is not a good thing .

They said he is feeling fine today, and he wants to play tomorrow, but the coaches are sitting him until Friday.

Coaches in the MLB are very cautious..... for good reasons based on their long season obviously. This will play out for a few more weeks before we know if he'll be able to play this season. Doesn't look good though..... it's been like 8 months since that concussion.

If he's not ready to go by the start of the season he should think about retiring. There is more to worry about like his health and family rather than baseball.

Don't we all wish.. I doubt the Twins have the kind of cash to spend on him next season. I was (and still am) an astros fan before coming to MN, and let me say with the number of times that he steps up to the plate against our pitchers, I cringe every time.

Morneau has played 3 or 4 games so far. He played Sunday as well in the win over the Yankees. Still bringing him along slowly but he is supposedly suffering no ill effects after each game so far.

Signing Pujols would be a waste, and not to mention we would never take on a contract that size with one of Mauer's size already on the books. Plenty of capable options to man 1st if Morny can't go anymore...I cry just thinking about him having to retire.
