We have had good luck anywhere from 2.2 to 2.6 but when you throw a few S turns in the mix it could be faster or slower.

Well I had a big long explanation of what and why and then my computer went down. mad

So to make it very simple on Lake Superior I like about 2.4 a lot and in the river against current 1.4-2.0 and with current enough to feel/see my lure working good.
