What's the latest from our friend's to the North? My dad's thinking about coming up-- any info appreciated.

We had about 5 guys up there last weekend from here. They did great. Many, many fish and lots of big ones. I'm still not happy I didn't get up there this summer!

Went up Saturday with three guys. Arrived at 10 PM fish till 2 AM. Caught 40 fish. Went out today at 9 AM fish till 2 o'clock. Caught 27 fish the biggest being 27 lbs. I figured we caught over a thousands pounds of catfish between four guys in nine hours of fishing.

No we didn't. There was alot of boats and people around(Lockports 100th annveristy) when we got there late Saturday night. We stop at the gas station to buy our license the guy at the counter told us there was a catfishing tourament going on(I think three fish were tag and release in the river). We unloaded the boat they had fireworks going off I felt like I was in the "Apocalypse Now" movie. Jumping in a boat on this river, pitch dark, fireworks going off, people sitting around bonfires up and down the Red. I know something was going to happen. I'll never forget that night. The fishing was awesome.

One of the guys with us goes up there quit a bit over the years. He knows that river pretty good. We did stay at Stu's. Frogs were the ticket. Good luck to anyone going up there. I'll be back for walleyes this fall and winter hopefully.

Do you know of anyone in the f-m area that polishes fiberglass

boats would like to get mine done before the seasons ends and who you might know that does

reupholstery on seats?
