Ruffed Grouse Banquet Cambridge - Kids, Habitat, Conservation, Hunting

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I am the banquet chairperson for the Rum River chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society here in Cambridge. Our annual banquet is coming up August 26th, 2010 5:30 PM at the Cambridge American Legion. Smoked prime rib from Joe's Smokehouse will be on the menu along with his famous cheese cake. The Ruffed Grouse Society is about providing habitat for grouse, deer, songbirds, and many other animals that depend on successional forest habitat for their survival. RGS is also about keeping the hunting tradition alive in the next generation by sponsoring activities for kids such as: Upland Bird Camp in Hackensack MN, and the Isanti Sportsman's Club Youth Day. If you can attend our banquet that would be great. If you can become a sponsor that would be even better. If not, please consider donating a new hunting item, a new fishing item, other new outdoor gear, new tools, a gift certificate for your services or from someone you know, or any gift certificate or other new item to be auctioned off at the banquet. Your support matters to the sport, to the habitat, and to the next generation of hunters. Please see me with any questions you have about donating/sponsoring, the banquet, or if you are not sure how best to help. Please note that your membership cost and any donation items are 100% tax deductible!! I will give you a receipt.

Here is some additional information too.
