Cooper26
Could anybody tell me what the difference is between like an 08 LM chip and the most current one? I am looking to buy one, but not sure if it is worth the 50 bucks to buy an '06 or '08 or just go buy the new one for 100 bucks. Also does anybody know a website you can view the lists of the lakes on the chip. Dont really want to buy the new one and not have any of the lakes I fish. Northlander
Go to the their website and check and see how many lakes you fish have been improved to 1' and how many lakes you fish have been added. Its up to you depended on what lakes you fish.
Steve Foss
Does anyone know if/when a 2010 set is going to be released?
Mike Stark
is there a one foot for burntside?
Steve Foss
No, and the Burntside data on the Lakemaster and Avoinics chips isn't very good. I know guys who would be drilling holes on dry land if they went by what their chips said.
Mike Stark
yeah the navionic chip shows im on land lots of the time...pretty much worthless...the MNTRAX chip is much better...i just wish it had one foot contours.
sheephead2
Go to there website and make a lake request for a 1ft survey. I have a 2009 chip has more lakes then 2008. The website tells you how many more lakes it has. Gary
Mike Mukka
The best map for Burntside is the fish smart app. Deadly accurate for finding lake trout structure. The navionics boating phone app has poor accuracy but helps get you close. If you want a tool to help you get on fish faster and to find target areas use the fish smart app and buy the msp for $

Got any pointers, tips or areas to start when I buy the app?
