I just got a new dpms 308 ar and I am debating what type of sling to get for it, one point or two point sling.I hunt northern MN, sometimes in some pretty heavy brush, any thoughts?

Look at a safari sling, you kinda get both slings in one with those. Cabelas is the only place Ive seen that sells them but Im sure there are a few others that might have them. Not sure if it will work that well with an AR though.

I prefer a single point.

Easier to transition to my handgun and I like being able to use both my hands without worry about where the rifle is.

I've found the best ones are the wide and padded.

I am using Magpul RLS Rifleman Sling and It is created from high-quality (premium hunting rifle sling) polymers and nylon webbings; plus, the colored webbing of RLS is NRI tested. When shouldered, RLS offers excellent comfort to the user due to its tubular construction and smooth texture.
