what do you mean by this? ...i wasn't anywhere near the dnr // stocking that was going on (or the old farts fishing for freshly stocked 10" trout), i walked past them at the landing ramp and talked for a bit with the dnr guy...then i walked across the pond to go fish.
Foster Arends isn't really that big is it?

I would guess within 10 minutes those trout would be every where in that little pond.

I brought 44 pounds of Pacific Salmon from Vancouver Island back to Rochester. (Honeymoon trip- thanks honey) and they tasted so awesome. The trout in Foster's taste like a milder salmon. How do I prepare them... cut behind the gill and let blood drain out and remove guts. Then I fillet them like a walleye removing the skin and put them in cold salt water. Make sure to get fat off the back, all skin off, let soak for a while in salt water. Prepare- bread and fry like walleye- sweet pink meat, also instead of making cream salmon on toast substitute trout and the best ever... Take chicken wild rice soup and substitute he trout for the chicken. Gives a beautiful pink color to the cream soup and adds such an awesome flavor. Trout fight like champs and taste excellent. you have to eat them fresh right now or the next day that is it.
