Bait Shop on Highway 28 near Glenwood

Does anyone know anything about the bait shop a couple miles east of Glenwood on Highway 28? I've seen it several times but have never stopped. It almost looks like a self-service kind of place. What do they carry for bait? Any minnows?

I'm fishing the Fall Walleye Classic and was thinking of stopping and checking this place out.

Any information would be appreciated.

Great little place...yes it is self serve. I have a place about 3 miles away. I have never gotten bad minnows/leeches.

Doyle traps everything...always healthy.

Several opportunities for bait locally and in the area. Doyle (Fetterers Bait) has a pay as you go self-serve and is usually in himself later in the day if you want to talk to him personally at the location mentioned, while there is also Koep's and Fish On in Glenwood, as well as Minnewaska Bait in Starbuck.

Not that I think I need to say anything because we have a good group of teams coming to town, but please be mindful that Doyle's is a self-serve and be honorable if and when stopping by, and please pay for what you take. I buy bait throughout the course of the year at all the bait shops, and it is a very nice convenience to be able to buy good bait 24-7 as such. Typically, I would never chime in on this thread as such, but I know Doyle has had problems with people helping themselves at times and not paying accordingly. Smile when you walk in because Doyle has candid camera on the premises.

yes make sure you pleas epay--its an awesome deal to go fall fishing at 5am and be able to get bait there

I usually dont have exact change and just pay a buck or so extra as a tip to show my appreciation to someone in our world today still willing to trust people will do right...very refreshing.
