Anyone fish this for lakers?

in the river? out in the lake in front of the river maybe you could hook one, caught many salmon trolling in front of it. shovel point is a good casting spot for lakers.

ok, sorry i meant brook trout or any other delicious fish specie that likes to swim around that river.

remember the special regulations on brookies- 20 inch minimum.

ven if you do catch a coaster, please release it, they are very rare, and are just starting to come back from near extripritaton.

If i am correct I think the only thing that you will catch that you can eat out of there are browns and the possible looper if there are even any that go that far north.

The upper baptism is pretty decent for brookies, I've caught some up to 12 inches at the first crossing on hwy 1. There is lot's of accessible water from there up to finland and beyond if you have waders. Tough to beat an orange #0 mepps spinner.
