Hey guys I am new to the circle. I fish the wabasha and alma area of the river. I haven't had to good of luck yet this year for bass and pike. I have been using rapalas and spinner baits but those have been pretty slow. Any suggestions???

Um yea, that section "wabasha and alma area of the river" is open year round. AKA Pool 4

Check out the DNR link to the regs. http://files.dnr.state.mn.us/rlp/regulations/fishing/fishing2009.pdf

I haven't been down there this year, but in years past the backwaters for largies/pike as they should be heating up about now. Good luck
