Hi, just wondering when the smallie action usually heats up? I'm planning a trip and not sure when to go. When do the bays usually start hitting 60 degrees? 2nd week of June?

Stacker: I've found Kab to be tough for smallies until the water is close to 60 like you hint at. But I typically fish for them shallow. Deeper water could be a different story. As far as when it hits 60, that is dependent on the weather. Could be my end of May or end of June.

I fished Nam for over 20 years and prefer the second week in June. Some years the third week or the first week might be better but when I could go for two weeks my pick would always be the second and third weeks.
