Other than Moonlite, The Wharf, and Manhatten...does anyone know of any water-accessible restaurants on the Whitefish chain?

Posted

The Pines I think it is called on the west side of whitefish they have a good menu........there is another in that area of the lake that I can't think of right now...it is in the nw corner of whitefish.......i think you can park the boat and also walk up to Zorbazs

Piney Ridge and Driftwood both on the West end of the lake(whitefish) have open dining.

Driftwood announced it is closed and for sale ..some discussion that Piney Ridge may not open this year...That would eliminate food by water on the west end....

A tip on Piney.........I would suggest calling ahead to confirm they are open prior to making the trip over their for food or golf this year.

I hope Piney Ridge doesn't close! Those are the first words out of my kids' mouth when we get in the boat...(picture 3 little girls in life jackets perched at the front of the pontoon ages; 7, 5 and 3) DAD, I WANT TO GO TO PINEY RIDGE!! DAD, I WANT TO GO TO PINEY RIDGE!! DAD, I WANT TO GO TO PINEY RIDGE!! You get the picture laugh Great appetizers and lunch menu, reasonable prices and a wonderful set up to help entertain the kids; volleyball, foosball, some arcade games and the ever so popular POOL! Very family friendly and a great staff, it would be sad to see it close. Please support this business if they do give it a go to start out the season, I know we will!

If you run really, really fast down the outlet bay at the dam you might get to Riverside Inn by boat, but getting back would be a problem. laugh

If you are up for a walk you can beach at the COE campground and walk to Riverside, Andy's, Pine Peaks and I suppose Rafferty's.

I've heard the same about Driftwood being closed. Piney Ridge has been our favorite lunch spot for years (when the wind is right to get there). Hope they stay open. Sad if there would be no on the water resteraunts on the west end.
