Loads of ice

We stii have 28" of solid ice for those who want to get in another ice fishing trip. We will be ice fishing for at least another week but probably longer. Woody

Thats right woody, we drove the truck out today,and hammered a few pike ,tip ups and jigging.The pike are starting to come in .The weather was great what a time to be on the ice.

The landings are not safe for truck traffic anymore. I hauled some supplies to our island this morning and made sure to have my truck off the ice before the morning freeze passed. I will not be driving on the ice anymore. Snomobiles, wheelers and walking will take you to some great fishing. Don't use any accesses with your wheelers and sleds around current areas (ie. landing between Island View and Dove Island, Tilsons etc.), you will only be asking for trouble. Be safe, there is still plenty of great fishing to do! Woody

The sheriff closed the landings ,no more driving out.

Fishpond- I would reccomend staying off the ice from here on out. It's a little too dicey for my blood. Woody
