I went into the Holiday gas station on the edge of town to pick up some waxies, and they were out. But they did have something called Butter Worms? I bought some but didn't get anything off them. Has anyone tried them, and what did you catch with them? confused

I have used them, and caught trout, as well as crappies, bluegills, perch and walleyes on them. They are very tough and stay on the hook well.

They are the larval stage of the Chilean Moth. I also read that they are high in calcium.

So, when a fish swipes one off your hook, you can rest easy that night knowing you were helping that fish ward off Osteoporosis.
