Always looking forward to the annual trip to the Rainy River in the fall. It is always a great time.

Just booked Leech for May 28-31. Sad thing is that this may be the only fishing I do all summer, aside from some shore fishing for panfish with the kids. I guess I will have to use all the left over vacation for hunting this fall .

Leech for the opening - Mississippi river below the Winnie dam - Cass - Winnie - all in May. Flying to Sesegagena in Ontario in June

( You now need a passport for Canada when you return to the US )

Back to Leech in July for eyes and skies. LOTW - Whitefish and Yellowgirl bays in August. Again to Leech Labor day weekend for the start of the perch bite ( eyes and skies also )

Minnows, leeches, shad raps, and gas Oh my -- open water is almost here.

yes the BWCA is deffinetly my favorite trip of the year, ya just have to expierience the peace and quiet to understand it, not to mention the best fishing i've ever had, and all to yourself. i forgot to mention i just got back tonight from a 6 day trip to sunny florida, where i managed to fish every day with some great catches. i'd like to post some pics of it once i can figure out how, if anyone can help i'd appreciate it

couple of the fish from the florida trip. the snook were both over 31" and the sea trout was 24". what a blast, and got my casting back in shape

Good old saltwater fishing. I usually get down there once a year, and this summer I will be in Florida twice!
