Wood Duck Houses

Recommended Posts

From what I've read you should use wood shavings or wood chips. But do not use large peices or fine dust. Cedar chips are good for nesting boxes. You should also have 3 to 4" of wood chips in the box.

I would go to a pet store or a farm supply store.

go to Tractor Supply or somewhere and get pine shavings. like 5 bucks for a big thing of it. dont use saw dust, it will suffocate the ducklings

I goto Walmart and get the cedar shavings, they're red and white and pretty cheap. I've read that cedar shavings are better than pine shavings, they dry out better.
