There is always the one that is run I think the weekend or so after opener, City Autoglass sponsors it, I don't know if Fortune Bay is also a major sponsor or not.

Good tourney to be involved with, Jamie does a good job running it, tons of fish caught, lots of fun.

"The Vermilion", quarterly newsletter of the Vermilion Lake Association, Spring 2023 edition, page 15,  has a list of all fishing tournaments on Lake Vermilion in 2023.  I was surprised to see there are 10 of them.

There also used to be a weekly thing with the resorts where you got a patch and a certificate for the weeks top fish of each species.   I don't know if that still goes on.

I've checked, and I don't have specific details on a summer fishing contest for Lake Vermilion this year. I recommend reaching out to local fishing organizations or checking with Lake Vermilion's tourism office for the most up-to-date information. They will be able to provide accurate details about any fishing contests or events happening this summer.

I'm not sure if you realized this, but you responding to a 14yr old post from 2009. Your response was spot on though! :D
