Raven77
"The Vermilion", quarterly newsletter of the Vermilion Lake Association, Spring 2023 edition, page 15, has a list of all fishing tournaments on Lake Vermilion in 2023. I was surprised to see there are 10 of them.
Brianf.
All tournaments in the state are available for online search at this DNR website. Just look for Vermilion in the body of water and it’ll show them all by date. https://files.dnr.state.mn.us/recreation/fishing/tournaments/2023-MN-DNR-fishing-tournament-list?v=2023.05.09-18.58.
delcecchi
There also used to be a weekly thing with the resorts where you got a patch and a certificate for the weeks top fish of each species. I don't know if that still goes on.
SkunkedAgain
On 6/17/2023 at 6:19 AM, jackyyy said: I've checked, and I don't have specific details on a summer fishing contest for Lake Vermilion this year. I recommend reaching out to local fishing organizations or checking with Lake Vermilion's tourism office for the most up-to-date information. They will be able to provide accurate details about any fishing contests or events happening this summer. I'm not sure if you realized this, but you responding to a 14yr old post from 2009. Your response was spot on though!
