haha that would be sweet 23 pounder chasing a 14 pounder. the glass table would have to be 8 feet long though.

haha yeah more like having to be a cabelas size mount. Like the fish mounts in the scenes they have. Whats crazy is Im sure under the ice pike in the 23lb range would love taken a chunk out of a 14lb fish for territory. How wide is the head on your 23lber? Its gotta be close to 6" or bigger gringrincool

cool pic. you always seem to get them to stay in hole long enough to get a nice picture of them. doesnt look like it much under the ice either

I found the policy for the forum and I

quote:

"We're looking for fish pictures in good taste that encourage selective harvest principles so the dead fish rule is as follows: Fish pictures must be in the natural environment where the fish is caught that do not look frozen, stiff, bloodied or look like they were just poured out of a bucket, no alcohol beverage containers or cigarettes and no stringer or fish in a bucket pics. Fish Mount, inside a fish house and live release tournament pictures are ok as well.

End Quote

So in other words pike on the ice away from blood is fine-its on the lake. As far as on cardboard it doesnt look pretty and thats all I can say on that, idk. I believe that a guy holding a speared fish shouldnt have blood or anything dripping off of the fish etc. If I were some people I would simply take your fish outside even at home put it on a patch of snow and submit your picture its that easy just dont say you did so... aslong as the fish doesnt look frozen... If its frozen obviously by the rules its a no go...

Probably not exactly what a morderator would say but I think you guys get the jist of it. hope this helps clarify some things.
