Bay Lake

I'll be waiting on Friday for the opener, but was thinking of hitting Bay lake during the day for any crappies. Anyone have general areas that they know of that have done better in year's past? I've never fished the lake before.

Bring lots of bait lots of little one.But you can get some keepers mixed in.

Have heard (heresay only) that it's a tough bite on Bay Lake. Maybe call Rutgers and ask their opinion. Of course, they'll be a bit biased.

I would give it a try...I know they grow some nice ones in there!

last year we got some really nice ones out of there good places to try are hansons bay and also the bay by the white hawk. the bite only really lasts 1 or 2 weeks its usally before the opener though.
