Anyone on here fishing Niles Point with a couple of kids last weekend? I went one last time yesterday afternoon with a friend for a few hours. We each got one, and we each missed one. Raised about 20 birds at four spots, plus one deer. Unfortunately, the season is now over. It was a superb season though. Second best season I've had with this dog. She just had her 13th season. I hope she can do it again next year. I'll be sorting my sock drawer now for a couple months... -

He can have this one! Haha! We shoulda maybe stayed on top in 14 but we could see the bottom so clearly and it was shallower than we really wanted. The quick deeper water check yielded perch and pike right away, so we moved. Caught plenty before dark, now pretty quiet. I have a hunch the bay WILL fish shallower than the main lake we’re used to. 16 inches of good ice out here. -
