Ice conditions between stillwater and Prescott?

Big Jeff

It is looking like I am going to get a chance to get out on a boat on Sunday. I am trying to find out if it is even possible to fish open water around Bayport? Otherwise I was thinking of looking around Hudson or Prescott. Any one have any information on these areas? Thanks for any help and good luck out there.

You're always welcome in my boat.......... You have my number, but I didn't get yours. How about opener weekend?

Inland opener I have a cabin for 4 days on Winnie, but most other weekends you are invited!! \:\)

Tim, thanks for the heads up, not sure what opener plans are but I should take you up on it. I will try to give you a call this week and may be we can line something up. I did get out two weeks ago on the ice and we did ok but nothing special. I think I am going to try the Bayport area for some craps Sunday if all goes right. Also Tim my email is on my profile if you want to get me there. Have a good one!

Went out to try for some crappies today. Nothing but a 9" walleye. Plus had to cut my trip short, my cuz fell off my boat into the cold 44 degrees water. Bet he won't be crossing to the front from the outside of the console again.

We tried WI side riprap of the stillwater bridge, those big round blocks where the AS King plant is and the wall there too. That's where we ended when he fell in.
