I just got my boat back and running, even moved a battery upfront, I'm looking for a place to get out this weekend to give it a run, hopefully catch some fish in the process. Anyone have any reports from area lakes?

Otter,

What is wrong with the images?? Is there a new policy that the fish images must be a certain size/quanity to be worthy of posting?

I'm going to head out somewhere local tomorrow, mostly just to run the boat for the first time, but I might chase a few crappies and gills as well.

I'm thinking Lake Sleepy Eye or St. James. Not really SC MN, but there close to home.

Whathappened,

Did you see the pics I posted? The were not "in their natural inviroment" . (The boat by lake,by lake, In ice house ect.) read the forum policy and really read it . it explains everything that you can and can't do.

I saw the pictures JD, they weren't in bad taste IMO, but they were against forum policy because of that natural enviroment thing. They were some nice crappies though.

Wet pants and a boat ride; must have been in a Crestliner. Ha!

Nothing new in forum policy but I'll tell you, it never hurts to review FM's forum policy from time to time.

Yes, these particular photos, as stated above, were taken out of their natural setting.

Was out on Cedar yesterday with my daughter, saw a few other boats and it didn't appear anyone was catching anything. The water was still pretty chilly, 44-45 degrees in most places.

?? He said he did shoot ducks out of it before, but for the feathers all over the floor, I drove fast enough to the lake to get them out! lol, One of the big problem he has is that you couldn't take a step without stepping on a lure! perspective, Take my tackle box and just empty it into his boat kick them around a little and that's what it looks like! no joke! And the lures are not the cheap 1.50 lures either! most of them are 4.50 and up!
