BSL is open 20-30 feet out on the n. shore

Been out on several lakes all week, seems like if you can get out the conditions are fine. Was out in Rapids last night and going tonight, we got alot of snow during the last storm, some slush by the landings, but still hittin' it hard till the end

Update on Big Sandy ice conditions? Any chance the ice goes mostly off by Sunday afternoon? Looking for any excuse to go up and put the dock in. Thanks.

They are predicting up to 3" of accumulating snow by Saturday night, and lows in the mid 20's and highs mid thirties to low 40's, and windy, through Sunday night...

I was going to go up today, then I looked at the forcast!! What the Blank is going on! I wanted to rake leaves and get the dock in. I guess I will save the $80 in fuel and wait another weekend to go up!!

Does anyone think this late ice out and weather will affect the bite on the opener??

IMO for what i am going for this will be the best year in about 10 or so and i can't wait for open water and awesome weather
