I have heard talk of that for some time -- nothing official.

There are lots that will be opened on Lee Lake, but most people are not in favor of what they are doing.

That is really going to kill that lake in terms of fishing Hitman. I can't blame the people who oppose it.

Anyone know how the campground is on Lee Lake. Looking to start camping and want to stay closer to the FM area for now.

A guy I work with here has been on the lee lake campground for a long time. Talks good about it and recently bought a brand new camper so he must be staying for a while. Has a lot of fun.

There is a LONG waiting list -- usually -- to get on Lee. My guess is you will be number 24,454,323,445.

Seriously -- it is a long wait, last I heard.

To me, sure seems like it is getting harder to find a place to park a rig by a lake especially just for a occasional weekend. I only know of two places right off hand and they are first come first served to the best of my knowledge. When I was a kid we could load up a tent and hit practically any lake we choose, would cost us 5 -10 bucks for the weekend to camp and many times that included a boat. Thankfully my family has had a place on a puddle now for over 30 years that we can base out of and fish many lakes within a ten mile radius. Okay enough reflecting did not mean to hijack the thread.

Lynn --

very good points. That is the wave of the future, I am afraid.
