Benelli Ultralight

Recommended Posts

Looks like a nice lightweight option for Grouse. Either the 12 or the 20. Especially the 20 at 5.2 LBS.

I shouldered the 12 at a shop and it seemed to fit well for me. I'm not keen on the factory finish, but that alone wouldn't prevent me from buying one.

If anyone has shot either the 12 or 20 -pls advise. How was the recoil, how did it point for you, any negative consequences of the light weight, etc.

I own the 12 and it shoots very smooth. A great gun for the field and the light weight was nothing but a bonus for me. It is the first gun that I feel fits me perfect. I did not miss that much this past fall. I give it a major thumbs up! I own another benelli and that gun fits me well also with the shims that I put in.

Good luck, LovenLifeGuy

Benelli is known for its reliability and now its soft shooting with the comfortech. Light weight would be a nice bonus.

Absolutely nothing wrong with a Benelli. Comfortech is marketing scam however.

I own a 12 gauge. I use it grouse hunting and pheasant hunting. Grouse hunting with the light loads the kick isn't too bad. The heavier loads do kick pretty heavy. Overall, my should can take a beating all day long as long arms don't ache from lugging a heavy gun around. It has never jammed.
