New to Archery

fifty is enough. i shoot 70 but thats because i shoot long shots. just have to look at the old fed bear that killed just about everything with a recurve. the more poundage you have the more things that turn into veriables while shooting. you dont need a bow that shoots 400fps or that costs $900. just stop into some of the locale shops to shoot some and see what you like. when i bought my bow fred bear was the quietest and smoothest to shoot shot alot of bows before i found the one that fit. but worth it.

If you get into i would look at getting into a bow club. I need to find one by the also, i took a class when i was 14 and it was amazing, i took it at sandhills. The knowlege that they have and are willing to share is beyond what i can share with you. you'll learn tips on hunting in general but more importantly bow shooting form which allows for better shooting, You'll also learn some basic bow work that you will be able to do yourself and have a great time. If anyone knows of any places around Hillsboro or Grand Forks i would like to know so i could join up here at the end of May.
