No hitter or not? I think if CC fields that ball cleanly, he gets LaRoche at first. I wonder if they'll overturn it?

Good old Gaggin, or Gagne strikes again. Not a 10 mil outing. Believe Parra will be on the mound tonight.

0 and 4 in September so far, not a good start.

I've been doing a little shooting but there's still fish to catch (not that I'm catching any though.) grin I was out last night and got nothing bit little perch and one small walleye.

For the record, Pier, and you can tell the rest of the FM crazies on here. In case the Sox get beat and the Twinks win tomorrow and everybody is giving me the business. I will not be on the site, tomorrow is my daughter's wedding and I will be busy watching hundreds of people I don't really like that much eat and drink me into the poor house! I may even work up a hangover for Sunday so I may not post anything that day either.

Squeeked one out last night. Getting ready for the 1st pitch tonight with Sheets against Peavy.

I think they forgot how to hit the ball. After a nice 5 hit shutout by Sheets they get beat today like red headed step children allowing 10 runs and getting 2 hits and one run. I see the Mat Gamel was 1 for 1 with a double. I wonder how long it will take for Skalen to screw up his swing?

Thanks Snooze,

And thanks to the current Pale Hose and past Pale Hose for a most enjoyable Saturday. Mr. Thome went deep in the 15th to help my Pale Hose put one more nail in the Twinkie coffin and Maggs Ordonez did the same with the late inning long ball to bury the Twinks. Magic number just keeps getting smaller and smaller for my Pale Hose, but no time to rest with the Jays coming to town. GO KC! LOL

They finally squeaked one out against Cincy. Now off to Philly for a series that is huge for both teams.

Not looking good. Philly's within 3 games and now Houston's snuck up on us and they're playing lights out right now. We'd better be able to take 2 of the next 3 but I don't like our chances with Parra going against Hamel tonight. Bush against Blanton Saturday (might be our best shot) and they haven't annouced a starter for Sunday to go up against Suppan.

That had to have been the worse loss so far this season. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. mad

There season continues to head down the crapper. It's like the whole team went into a funk when all they had to do was play .500 ball to get a wild card shot. No pitching, no hitting, errors at the worst possible time.

The sad thing is this was the year. Most likely Sheets and Sabathia will both be gone next season and after those two, there isn't a lot.

Well, still hanging onto a slim chance. Mets lost to the Cubbies last night so only 1 game back. I want to see the Mets lose all 3 of those games but I find it really hard to cheer for the Cubs.

Kind of weird, eh snooze! I could never cheer for them, as you can probably surmise from my avatar. My two favorite baseball teams have always been, The White Sox....AND WHO EVER PLAYS THE CUBS!

Nice win last night coupled with a Mets loss. A win today and another loss by the Mets and hopefully they can start someone besides CC for the final game. It would be nice to save him for the first play off game.
