Lots of potential again this year, still a few bugs to work out. Stinkin FSN had the T-wolves game on last night mad.gif Oh well, sounded ugly on the radio - just like today. Have no idea how the Mets are this year, will find out tomorrow.

New closer is a big step back. Get used to what you've seen so far from him.

Hope you're wrong but its not a good start for him. Backwards is never good....my dad is upset about him already, rightfully so.

Didn't the Brew crew start out hot before the all-star break only to fade in the end???

I think the closer issue is going to become a big thorn in their side unless they are able to get on via trade...hmmmm maybe they will make a deal for our guy Nathan!!!!! If we are out if by then.

Yes they were like 12 or 13 games in 1st at one point before the break then they self destructed. I'd be disappointed with less than 90 wins for them.

90 wins? That's quite an expectation from a team with an inconsistent closer and an injury prone rotation which lacked depth in the first place.

100 wins? Brewers? In the same sentence?

Nice young club. They should be okay, I would like to see them make the playoffs. In their division, it should take about 82 wins.grin.gif

The one and only problem with the Crewers is the fact that Ned Yost is their skipper...He overworks his pitchers and does some mind blowing things that causes the team all kinds of issues down the stretch!

I think the brewers can easily get 90,95, even 100 wins. Would love to see it!

On a side, wore my Brewers throwback last night because the twins weren't on tv. What a joke that is!

im not sure they can do it, but we will have to see. As long as they beat the Yanks, who cares.

Just avoided the sweep today....got Sheets on the mound against Cinci with Arroyo tomorrow. Think I already ranted about the T-wolves on MSN when the Crew was scheduled but it got worse, on Tues they had the Twinkies on! Prince busted loose today, hopefully the beginning of another 50 HR year.

Cooter- Lohse was doing very well until the 8th, still only 2 runs allowed on 5 hits and 3 k's and our bullpen can't nail it down for him.. AArrgh for us Cardinal fans, nice late comeback Cooter from the crew.... Now we have the last place Giants coming to town for the weekend, time to fatten up...

Still Lohse did pitch a shutout through 7 his longest stint on the bump thus far, he will only get better...

Unfortunately, you guys will probably have your way with the Giants - JK good luck, kinda sorta, not really grin.gif. We were lucky to avoid the sweep with the way the bats and starting pitching were. I didn't tune into the radio until about the 7th but they said Villanueva did not have his junk working today.

Brewers need to find the groove and quit [PoorWordUsage] around. Don't know about baseball, but they got some good brew comin out of St Louis! grin.gif\:D

Turnbow and Gagne are struggle city...at least they pulled it off in extras today. I think Torres should be the closer from here on out.

Got one from the cubbies, two out of the three would be great. Tough team, lots of good players.

Cameron ready to go! Have to like adding a veteran bat that can play solid in the field.

Planning on purchasing about 25 tickets this afternoon to a brewers game!

He had a good game last night. He didn't look great last night, but its also good to have Sheets back in the rotation - see how long it lasts this time around.

Hopefully Sheetsie pitches better than Sups...that was not a good night for the Crew to be on ESPN!

I'll be watching this game on WGN today after work. Of course I would like to see the Brew Crew win as to soften up the Cubbies before the Cubs come to St. Louis on Friday...

I think the cubbies about wore out home plate last night...hopefully this afternoon isn't a repeat of last night.
