Snow Totals?

When we left Ashby yesterday at 11:30 AM, it was starting to ice rain. We had to drive a bit slower on 94 until we got past Alexandria. It cleared up by the time we hit the Osakis exit. I heard on the news this morning that 94 was closed overnight heading West at Alexandria. How much snow did the area get?

I guessed about 8" in Battle Lake area, less amounts the further west and south. Alexandria got a few inches from what I was told.

However, the further north/NE got significant snow.

Hope it is melting there as well as it is in Moorhead today...right now it is 42º, bright sunshine, water running to the street drains heavy and steady. We got about 6-8 inches of wet sloppy stuff.

Amazing how quickly it is disappearing, yesterday I was to go to Ottertail, but quickly canceled that trip and I was very bummed, but today in much better mood.

I sure am ready for open water. This winter is starting to drive me nuts. Put it this way, I will be very happy when the time comes to drive around the lake in the pontoon.

We got around 6" in Evansville I didnt hear anyhting about the interstate being closed though
