Fishfinder GPS Recommendations

Saskfisher

Question

I recently purchased a boat which had a Lowrance X65 fishfinder. I would like to upgrade to a colored unit with a GPS. What is the best one? I am hoping to get something for <$750. I am very much a novice fisherman so need something easy to use.

Lowrance is the best gps/fish finder on the market today. In that price range grin.gif

Yep, I would go with Lowrance and the lakemaster chip. I have an x17 and works. I would like a color as well, just not in the budget for a while.

Lowrance 522c. Cabelas has a deal going for a little bit yet (just got the flyer int he mail) that if you buy the 522 you can purchase the RAM mount for only .99$. Pretty good deal considering they normally run around 40.

BTW, I love my new lowrance unit.

I'm with the rest of the group. It's a no brainer.

Lowrance and lakemaster chip.

And you can download an emulator from the lowrance site and learn how to use tne unit right on your computer.
