Went up to Ely for the weekend and did some trout fishing on Miner's Pit right in town. Didn't matter what time of day, fish were always biting. Tried crawlers, plastics, and spinners but what worked the best was a small storm smash shad deep diver. Black and gold were the colors of choice. Most of the fish were caught along the shoreline in about 30 FOW with lots of submerged trees around us. Trolled forever with little to no luck, and casting the banks and in between the trees seemed to do the trick. Tons of fun up there with some great fishing. Get it while it's hot, and enjoy the video!
