Big Sag - where is Devil's Walk Bay?

I have been trying to figure out where Devil's Walk Bay is on Big Saganaga, if anyone can help me out. I have a pretty good map with all the names of bays and islands, but I do not see Devil's Walk.

It is a bay on the South side of the lake a bit East of Red Rock Bay.

May I suggest you stop at the bait stations in Grand Marais and pick up a map of Sag. They have some decent ones up there. The last time I was at the Holiday station there, I saw at least two different ones that were really decent for there.

Thanks for the info. I had planned on stopping at a local bait shop anyway, and other than bait I was going to look for a better map. I'm just trying to get a lay of the lake ahead of time so I can try to make up travel plan.

I have never been to Saganaga but from what I am told it is much larger than a map makes it appear. I don't want to have to criss cross the lake is I don't have to.

You really need to be careful out by the islands in the middle. You will be going along and bam up come several reefs out there. Be careful The lake is very clear and watch the color differances in the bottom, if you see light color stop your shalloow.

Another caution with Devils Walk, on the north side of the island there is a rock that will reach up and say hello, I'm sure a close look will reveal some Grumman colors and metal I hit it a couple years back as I thought I was far enough away from the main island. There is some good fishing to be found in there though.
