I am heading up to Hunters Point for a long weekend, any reports coming from that area?

We limited out (5 guys) last weekend both Saturday (had a fish fry) and Sunday (took fish home). We weren't more than a mile away from the landing.

Perch King,

You will do very well up there. Just ask George what the bite is like in his area and he will steer you in the right direction.

I know that fish are biting all over right now and you shouldn't have too much trouble finding fish.

Good Luck and Fish On!!!

I believe that one in Monticello closed down

Most of our fish came on minnows under bobbers. I spooked countless fish with even subtle jigging.

I never made it out Monday was too tired from fishing Friday - sunday didn't feel like getting up early

Hey, Here a quick update on actual ice thickness or snow cover on trout. 14 inchs of ice pressure ridge out there. if you are  on a snowmobile if traveling fast on it watch for it. Truck or car i do not recommend on trout with pressure ridge. And yes i have been on the whitefish chain this year in truck. just not on trout. just my 2 cents
