boat launching?

3 posts in this topic

When you see a sign on the side of a road and it says "no launching boat from road" does this just mean with a truck and a trailer? If you lifted the boat in by hand and back out by hand it doesnt mean it was launched from the road correct?

best bet would be to call your sheriff and ask about legality. You might be able to unload a boat or canoe from a safe location. Most of the time there are signs like these there has either been one or more incidences of an accident or tragedy, or imminent possibility of one.

The only reason they allow you to have a gun while archery hunting deer is if you have a ccw. They did this because if they didn't it would impede on your rights to carry.   Thank you for contacting the Minnesota DNR.   You are correct, your friend is not. Even having both licenses, a person can't have both weapons with them at the same time. That person would need to choose which weapon and license to use, can’t do both hunts with both weapons at the same time.   Please feel free to contact us if you have further questions either by email or by calling 888-646-6367 M-F 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

I have caught them on Vermilion when the mayflies are hatching in the evening by using a fly rod with small poppers or may fly type dry flies. Just cast to the surfacing fish. A spinning rod with an Adjusta Float with poppers or flies may work even better. Cliff

I have also wondered why there are no Sauger in Vermilion. I have never caught one there or heard of one being caught by anyone else. Cliff
