May for Johnson... Raw deal!

5 posts in this topic

We lose our #1 D and they lose a 3-4 line forward, yeah that works... for Anaheim! I am not calling for somebody to get hurt but if the Wild don't "run" somebody early in the game to make a point they lose face IMO with many other teams not just Anaheim.

They cant go out and make stupid penalties, thats what the ducks want us to do, if the wild are going to win they need 5 guys on the ice. I agree the wild got the raw end of this, but, you cant take 2 of their guys out because one of theirs took out one of our guys! I think if we play like last game keep on their goalie, pepper him with pucks, I think it will piss them off and do more stupid penalties, then we can be 5 on 4! Go WILD!!!!

Nothing for the other clown-show that jumped in on the initial 1 on 1 square off that started this with Hall? That is not right at all......Boy I want to put the pads on myself!

Yeah, discipline is needed, but the Wild also need to send a message. Notice it's not Pronger or Neidermayer (either one) stepping up for the Ducks? Gabby was getting worked over by Neidermayer pretty good after the whistle a few times. Someone needs to send Selanne a hit that wants him to be back in Finland. Watch Veilluex, he's going to be a man on a mission, and if Boogey gets the chance to dance, look out.

Prediction: Wild win behind the combo of Rolston/Gabby/Pavol. It flat out worked and the other lines held their own. Bouchard may have an impact as well.

3 1/2 hours to wait......

Chris

It was a good season, they have a good core to build on, just a few more players added to this team and we will be skatin with the cup next year!

I think they got the point across, and as of always, the wild will remember them next year. May will run into the boogie man next season!

I'm heading up to Blackduck for the long July 4th weekend and we are hoping on maybe getting out on Red for a day.  I've only ice fished it twice,  so I'm wondering about the best places to launch the boat.  It looks like there is only the one public launch in Waskish.  The 2 times I ice fished up there we went out of JR's Corner resort.  Would it be best to just launch from one of the resorts.  Any advice would be appreciated,  thanks in advance.

6/17-24 at LaBelle's Birch Point lodge in NW Bay.   walleyes seemed scattered--trolled crankbaits and lindy-rigged leaches.  cool, wet, windy weather half the week.  no bass.

Juan that is great area for smallies. The water looks clear for the rum it's time. It's a long way to the next landing so you might want put in in Princeton and fish to that access You can get out at highway 47 so that is not to bad. I forgot about that I was thinking you had get almost to Cambridge.

Thanks for the update.  Keep this updated.  Heading up on Saturday for the week and need to dial in the bait for the week or if we are going to be spending all day looking for active fish.

Been a decent year on Kab, but the variable weather has fishing in an unpredictable pattern too. Much like last year, saugers have made up a big chunk of the catch, but walleyes are coming around. LOTS of small 9"-11" 'eyes around mixed with some 15"-16" 'eyes and sauger. Some folks are still picking up some of the jumbo perch too. Little pike are everywhere and quite the nuisance.

You kind of hit the weather bad this past weekend.  Wind, rain, and more wind not to mention cold fronts moving thru.  I was on the lake my cabin is on in the general area of Red and I had a tough time scrapping together a meal - and I've fished the lake for 15+ years.  Sometimes mother nature throws you a curve and no matter how good the lake is sometimes it doesn't matter.

      Looks like a Namakan fish.

Hit the lake before 6:00 this morning. Fishing very slow again. Lots of mayflies on the water. Water 64 degrees. Got a bass at first stop but no more of those. ABout 5 walleyes and four pike in nine hours. Quit just in time to fight the 22 MPH wind (twice what was predicted) all the way home. Fish in 25 FOW. Most on Fin-S-Fish. numerous missed bites. Yesterday hardly missed a one. Not so today.   June 27, 2017 video link

Froggin is a blast! I couldn't get any topwater action Saturday but just under the surface with a spinnerbait they were crushing it. Early morning it was suspending jerkbaits on weedlines. Not a single swirl on top.
