Place to park ice house?

5 posts in this topic

I am looking for a spot to park and use an ice house this summer. I really like Red Door, but somewhere on the south end would be closer. Any suggestions and how much do they charge? I am new to this so I have no idea what the going rate is. Anyone know what Red Door charges?

I would give Wilderness Warmth in cove bay on the south end a call.I have my house there and i know they have summer spots with electricity and a fish cleaning shack.call Jay or Amber at 763-427-9827.that number is also his construction company phone number so leave a message and i know he will call you back, they are really nice people so give them a shout.hope to see you there.

If you plan to use it, expect somewhere around $1000/season.

I don't know if he has room, but call Kari at Garrison Sports in May. the south/east side counties have regulations about using shacks in the off season unless they are parked like a seasonal camper.

Quite abit of new tackle, along with some different plastics options this year. Some of the new products have proven itself on soft water while doing some recon during the past few weeks, fishing first ice spots. Fine tuning "spots on the spot" can pay off big time, before fish become spooky from noise of crowds, which more times then not, makes them less willing to bite, and can make them move to other key locations nearby.

I'll bet this lure will get a lot of bites! It may even catch a few fish! Does look interesting. Cliff
