Kelly,

I'm hoping that I understood you correctly that the access looked okay for Tuesday. Either your cell or mine was breaking up pretty badly....I will try to contact you later this afternoon.

If all goes as planned, I'll be heading up early, arriving around 10am-11am to unload at the house....I believe you said the houses are on shore, etc....then my boys and I will try taking my truck on the lake and go hole hopping for the day and pull off the lake around 6pm to be sure to get back to shore safe and sound...We'll plan on staying Tuesday night...will the propane still be on, etc?.....and taking off early Wednesday morning.....

Does this sound doable? I know you and John and Patty work your butts off up there, along with the other huys plowing the roads and manning the Minnow.....Let me know if things don't look good....my boys are just hoping to get one more great trip in, but they understand the conditions may not be suitable.....

Trucks started beaking through along the shoreline this afternoon so Buddy closed the road for trucks a few minutes ago. Hillman's road is now ATV or snowmobile only.

Don't take me wrong, I'm not anti-technology.  Battery powdered items will always have their place.  I'm mean you don't want your girl friend or wife in the bedroom playing for their gas powered adult toys!!  That would be a bit loud and smokey!

That’s right. My 84 year old dad loves his electric chain saw. Light weight and quiet. Besides, at his age he’s not cutting a bunch. Where as myself I want something with more power and heavier duty.  Look at how many people have switched back to gasoline cars after running one in winter if you travel a lot.   As long as my strike master works I’ll keep using gas. Maybe my next will be electric, but who knows,  you can find used gas ones pretty reasonable as others buy electric.
