Its ok fish, thats why you just gotta keep fishing and just tell yourself "f##k em" and enjoy the outdoors and the fishing, because they can't take that away from you. Sometimes fighting the DNR and the legislature is like talking to a brickwall. I think the DNR knows if they screw up anymore they will loose alot more than gain, especially in funding. I wouldn't worry about and just go about your life and fish!

Hey Fish thought I'd refresh your memory! I'm not pushin nothin. With all the hoopla about no new fishers buyin lisences and money not commin in to the DNR Its even gonna be harder for your requests! like I said long roe to hoe! remember this???Fish; thru the DNR its called "Request to Adopt" Email the DNR In cc area wright in this name Linda Erickson-Eastwood this is how cat fishers are tring to get a bullhead for bait rule increased from 7 inches to 10 inches.Little steps are more acceptable than big leaps!Be prepared to wait till next year for anything if at all to be hashed over by DNR then a period of informal meetings, asking for public input, then if it looks acceptable-- more input ITS A LONE ROAD! Be prepaired for a long ride & lots of time,I'll help if I can but remember everyone has different Ideas Thats always a problem dealing with public matters.

Nice thats what I like to hear, was doing an annual trip to LOW with my buddies, but to be quite honest biggest fish I ever saw in 10 plus trips was 27 inches, I caught 3 bigger than that on the pond last year, and hey I can stay in Wright county where I live and catch 10 inch walleyes.. I don't make it up to that end of the lake ever, usually fish the south end..Bought a wheel house this year, would loke to set it up as base camp and hopefully be able to head up toward that end and do some exploring..And thanks for the input, thinking there is a lot of readers and not many writers on this site nowadays...

Lake Marion is completely iced over. Hopefully we won't get much snow and be fishing soon.

Silver lake in New Brighton is iced over. I'm going to count one week before checking thickness on my early ice spots. Could be fishing next Friday if all goes well.
