Coon Lake is loaded with northerns, some big ones too. Bass fishing is pretty good there too. Since your in Anoka, fish the rum or mississippi and you'll get plenty of smallmouths. That's probably about your best bet for walleyes in the immediate area too.

Depends on the size of your boat/motor? The rum is definitely small boats/canoes only. The mississippi in that area is unpredictable because there's shallow rocky shoals everywhere. During normal water levels it should be ok for a bigger boat though, just keep it slow.
