Area Turkey Hunters - Patterning Day

Would anyone one be interested in setting up a Shotgun Patterning Day?

Thinking that everyone could bring a box of shells and then we can all shoot a few of each, instead of everyone going out on there own and buying 4 differnt boxes.

Great Idea!

We do that with our group of turkey hunters. Works out pretty well. laugh.gif

Riverrat:

Set something up and I'll attend if I can make it!

Details:

-Central location at a gun range?

-Weekend day

-Time/date?

What works, any ideas?

Well I'm not a member at any gun range, also don't really know of any around the area, guess I'm not a great planner smirk.gif

I dunno really, I originally posted this in the South Central forum which is the area I live in, no one responded.

Being a senior in highschool I don't really have the access to organize something like this, I mean I probally do, but I don't know where to start.....

Does anyone know anything about the hunt club in LeSeur? Maybe that could be an option?

I would venture to say if you contacted Earl or Randy Voss at Caribou Gun Club that he may let some guys come.

Well they already have the gas powered drink blenders for the beach, Mike. 🤙

Don't take me wrong, I'm not anti-technology.  Battery powdered items will always have their place.  I'm mean you don't want your girl friend or wife in the bedroom playing for their gas powered adult toys!!  That would be a bit loud and smokey!

That’s right. My 84 year old dad loves his electric chain saw. Light weight and quiet. Besides, at his age he’s not cutting a bunch. Where as myself I want something with more power and heavier duty.  Look at how many people have switched back to gasoline cars after running one in winter if you travel a lot.   As long as my strike master works I’ll keep using gas. Maybe my next will be electric, but who knows,  you can find used gas ones pretty reasonable as others buy electric.
