Lets all celebrate the 60th year of the color barrier in baseball. I think its very important that we take the time to celebrate the breaking of the color barrier and Jackie #42

Amen.......

But the only time a color barrier should even be thought of is if your favorite lake had run off from a big rain, and your trying to pick out a crankbait..... wink.gif

Race should never be a barrier to anything.

You cant say it any more. Fact is, it shouldnt have been something so big, yet it was, and it has changed the games everywhere for any player or coach out there in the game today.

I have caught them on Vermilion when the mayflies are hatching in the evening by using a fly rod with small poppers or may fly type dry flies. Just cast to the surfacing fish. A spinning rod with an Adjusta Float with poppers or flies may work even better. Cliff

I have also wondered why there are no Sauger in Vermilion. I have never caught one there or heard of one being caught by anyone else. Cliff

Thanks for the report MNfan.  Too bad fishing wasn't better for you. Good weather at least. Nice to get out this time of year.
