Thursday snowfall

3 posts in this topic

How much snow has fallen as of this evening (Thursday) on the Big Pond? This last week's snowfall has got to help the lake level but we'll need about another five feet of snow to get her back to where she belongs.

I like to sacrifice larger shiners just for their scales.  Ill take my thumb nail and work em off in the hole and a big cloud of scales slowly make their way down.  Ive never been a fan of a pile of dead minnows under my hole.

Fished today from 23ft-33ft. Moved 8 times. 3 guys. 2 fish. Thus far.... Case anyone else who prefers an honest report cares to hear one.   75+yrs experience with 40+ on this lake during winter. For whatever its worth.

You might be able to get away with one and half minnows at a time, but no more.... lol
