Fishhouse Storage

3 posts in this topic

Does anyone know of somewhere I can store an 8x12 skidhouse for the spring, summer, and fall?

It needs to be near the east end (Hillmans, Westwinds, etc.), and unfortunately, due to a family surgery, has to be this weekend...

Thanks!

I think both hillmans and west winds store them for like a hundred bucks a year or something. I know rogers does too.

I think Westwind and Hillman's only store them on shore during the winter for a week or two. I do not know aout the south shore.

Close to Waskish contact Kim Nelson/Up North Storage from Waskish. He is about 1 1/2 miles from Westwind. A lot of room with a high, dry sand ridge. The only place in Waskish not considered a wetlands grin.gif

The only reason they allow you to have a gun while archery hunting deer is if you have a ccw. They did this because if they didn't it would impede on your rights to carry.   Thank you for contacting the Minnesota DNR.   You are correct, your friend is not. Even having both licenses, a person can't have both weapons with them at the same time. That person would need to choose which weapon and license to use, can’t do both hunts with both weapons at the same time.   Please feel free to contact us if you have further questions either by email or by calling 888-646-6367 M-F 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

I have caught them on Vermilion when the mayflies are hatching in the evening by using a fly rod with small poppers or may fly type dry flies. Just cast to the surfacing fish. A spinning rod with an Adjusta Float with poppers or flies may work even better. Cliff

I have also wondered why there are no Sauger in Vermilion. I have never caught one there or heard of one being caught by anyone else. Cliff
