GPS (Structure)

3 posts in this topic

I have been looking at the map of Red on the GPS...anyone have any tips on how to dig around or where to look for walleyes/crappies? 1st timer up this weekend, I don't need your coordinates, but just wondering if anybody has any advices. I'm assuming you guys fish near midlake more than alongside shoreline. I also notice there's not too much structure to relate. Everybody says drill and move... Any other advices besides that? Catch & Release!

So how do you guys go about finding fish when you go out...Do you drive around until you mark fish or big schools of smelt then troll that area?? I know I've read about using a site that shows Superiors water temps also....I'm thinking of trying it this weekend if I get the boat ready in time and the weather is ok.

I also heard that there has been a lot of ice damage on the South shore of Birch Point. Saw a few pictures that Sherry, (Manic Docks) took last week. Cliff

Think I might try my kayak on a lake this weekend for some of those.
