Best Launch

3 posts in this topic

I'm going up to Mille Lacs this weekend for a birthday and we want to go on a launch and were wondering what launch is the best one to go to for the prices and their success ratio. Just going to be a coulpe people and looking for one on the west side. Info greatly appreciated.

I would go out of Eddy's or Twin Pines. I would lean more towards Twin Pines the owner's are so friendly. Make sure you call ahead and check availability for the day you want to go. Their info is under resorts.

Thanks for the information. We decided to book a the launch with Twin Pines for the sake of it being closer to where we are staying. We got the 7 to 11 night run. Hope the weather and the fish cooperate.

I remember when I first moved to MN I went down to the dam with a buncha angleworms. Coudnt keep the smallies off. LOL

Very weird. Those little worms in the garden do catch more than little 2-4 sunfish.

Strange indeed... Try looking for much more slack water compared to the beech you were yesterday and today. The West side of the dam was on fire this afternoon; a friend and I were in the double digits within an hour.

I just signed the petition "Robbinsdale Armstrong High School Athletic Director: Allow Trap/Skeet Participants to Earn a Chenille Letter." and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name.

Our goal is to reach 500 signatures and we need more support. You can read more and sign the petition here:
