I see that the winds will be out of the north/northeast this weekend. Any ideas of where to start would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Jason,

Hey Jason were you out on the north side this week on Monday and Tuesday? I saw a guide with a Lund and a 200 hp Merc out on Monday. Quite the wind on Monday and Tuesday. Just wanted to know if that was you, if not do you know who it might have been?

Buddy and I went out yesterday around noon. Fished for a few hours was a little windy but not to bad. Only got a small largemouth and one decent gill. Only fished for 2-3 hours tried all over the small lake we were on. Ooh well still nice to finnaly get out. Planning on taking the yak out on opener do a bass/pike/ walleye trip so exited for that. Few nice gills you got there rick!

Any reports? I know there was a lot of people out there. The boomsite access was already 3/4 full when I drove by at 5 AM. I'm thinking about going out of blufflands park on Friday.

Kinda cold and windy yesterday. Fish really didn't seem to mind though. Finding ggod sized fish was the goal for the afternoon. Started off in a feeding bay that has a section of deeper water in it. This deeper water is where I found all my fish. Crappies were holding tight to the weed cover around the hole, while gills were closer to the surface. It wasn't fast fishing by any means, still I managed to find some real quality pannies

I have two Vexilar transducers.    1) Thru hull/trolling motor- used.  From FL8 2) New never used, high speed.       I looked on Vexilar's site, The one's they sell say FL8 or FL18.  Checked FAQ and they look like they are interchangeable with other models???  Can text pictures-what do you have?
