Grand Rapids Winnie fishing report

Finally the fishing is starting to go again pretty decent. The walleye’s are starting to bite on winnie. We have been catching fish off high banks , ravens, stoney all the fall places with the right wind. Jig and minnow is my bait of choice but crawlers, leeches and shad raps are doing well too. Bowstring, sand are also kicking out some fish too. The crappies are starting to show up on their deep haunts also. The fall bite has just started so get out and enjoy.

Hoping to get my nephew out fishing this weekend. Probably will hit Cutfoot, since I only have a 16 ft Lund with 25 HP. Probably not big enoug to venture very far out into the main lake... Do you have any suggested locations, etc to hit on cutfoot or the area around the entrance to the main lake?

I am definitely in! My boss also gave me permission to start looking at jet boats this spring. We have to get rid of a 3rd car first but I do believe a Lowe 1760 pathfinder with a 115/80 will also be in my future!

Eskimo cs is top notch. I have had 2 different pop-ups and have a 949i now and love it. Wasn't overly impressed with the flip over pop-up at Cabela's though. It seemed to have less room out in front of you than the other flip over from clam and otter.
