Anybody been up to this lake lately and have an idea where the walleyes are?

I haven't fished Fish in years; but it does have nice 'eyes. Just pull cranks or spinner rigs along the weedline and you should pick up some fish. Good luck!

Fish Lake is considered by most to be a dead sea as far as walleye fishing is concerned. Recent DNR net results have shown that in fact the lake has a tremendous population of large walleyes. Their explanation to poor catch results by fishermen is attributed to the lake's healthy population of shiners. I have not found anyone that fishes the lake like like this but I think that the best way to catch a walleye on Fish Lake is to run boards and good shiner imitation cranks. Cover water even though it is a small lake. Use your electronics and find baitfish. Chances are that there is a few walleyes lurking near those schools of baitfish. It can be tough fishing but if you can crack the code you will be handsomely rewarded.

Don't take me wrong, I'm not anti-technology.  Battery powdered items will always have their place.  I'm mean you don't want your girl friend or wife in the bedroom playing for their gas powered adult toys!!  That would be a bit loud and smokey!

That’s right. My 84 year old dad loves his electric chain saw. Light weight and quiet. Besides, at his age he’s not cutting a bunch. Where as myself I want something with more power and heavier duty.  Look at how many people have switched back to gasoline cars after running one in winter if you travel a lot.   As long as my strike master works I’ll keep using gas. Maybe my next will be electric, but who knows,  you can find used gas ones pretty reasonable as others buy electric.
