Looks like you will have the lake to yourself grin.gif. I'll be opening on Tonka, will be on the big pond 6/10-6/12. What works best for you on Mille lacs for Ski's?

I'm a rookie, so anything is open! I fished the pond 2x last year with 0 results, not even a follow. But just casting a big lure & anticipating a strike is enough for me!

Ditto, though I have whupped a few on Tonka last year, I have yet to try the pond for them. This will be my 2nd year of hitting it hard and I'm looking for a pig or two this year.

If the wind isn't too bad I will be out there saturday afternoon. I have to help a friend of mine move some of his furniture in the morning.

I'll have to let them wait a week. Heading to Lake Michigan for 3 days of salmon fishing! I love fish with teeth! cool.gif

There are two main spawning spots on Vermilion that I know of. I'm near the one on the west end of Vermilion. The walleye haven't been as good on this end yet they don't pull any fish out from here. They've been pulling walleye out of the east end spawning spot in Pike Bay, and for some reason walleye have been doing better over there.   I have no doubt that there are many variables that go into the equation, but you can't ignore that the end they put the 10% back into has been doing better than the one where they leave it alone.
